Biography
Born and raised in the North West Suburbs of Chicago, DJ Rix has been Djing over 20 years. Rix was first inspired to become a DJ while listening to Dj's such as Bad Boy Bill and Bobby D on Chicago's B96 Mix Shows. In the early days of his career, he spun records at local skating rinks and a few other local spots where he improved his mixes and developed his own style.
In 1993 DJ Rix moved to Atlanta Ga. and started playing out at well known clubs. On any given night you can catch him mixing anything from Top 40/ Dance/ Hip-Hop/ Mash-Up/ Rock/ 80’s) as well as providing Karaoke.
DJ Rix over the years has played for known celebrities and artists. His versatility in Music makes him a rare commodity that keeps him always in demand. Rix has been setting the trend in video mixing by incorporating his own custom video edits, music videos.
In the last 13 years DJ Rix has Been Producing Remixes. These remixes can be heard on radio mix shows and at nightclubs all over the country. These remixes are distributed nationally on Ultimix, Funkymix and X-Mix worldwide by the top remix services offered to DJ's worldwide... Rix still finds a way to keep ahead of the game & keeping the dance floors packed.
